Hi everyone! After a successful Habitat for Humanity event back in the fall, we decided to organize another one at the end of spring season in order to give back to the community. Our build will be in Bay Shore on June 24th from around 8:45 am to 2:30 pm. Attached in this post is an information packet with some guidelines and timelines, a sheet with the story of the mother and son who both work in the hospital as front line heroes and for whom we will be building a new home.
Interesting Fact: the current CEO of Habitat for Humanity, Jonathan Reckford, was a rower on the Mens Crew Team at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill as an undergrad and coached the Korean crew team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
